Figma

Design Freemium figma.com

The industry-standard collaborative design platform, now stretching credibly into code and AI without diluting its core strength.

figma.com

Figma needs little introduction: it's the dominant collaborative design tool for a reason, combining a fast, precise vector canvas with real-time multiplayer editing, developer handoff tools, and an expanding set of AI-native features like Make and Weave. The core product is mature, reliable, and genuinely hard to replicate — this is not a thin wrapper or landing-page product but a deeply built platform used by the vast majority of Fortune 500 design teams. Newer additions (AI generation, Sites, Buzz) are promising but less battle-tested than the core design and prototyping experience, and pricing scales steeply once you need Dev Mode or enterprise seats. Still, as a category benchmark it clears the bar easily.
